At Bali Bird Park you can take a walk on the wild side too. Come face-to-face with our resident Komodo dragon, giant monitor lizards that are direct descendants of the dinosaurs that lived nearly 100 million years ago.
And let your imagination fly when you meet our majestic birds of prey – from eagles to kites, owls to falcons.
Watch them as they soar overhead and swoop down at the Basic Instinct show. Look out for the South East Asian Barred Eagle Owl.
You’ll recognize him by his large, sideways – pointing ear tufts and powerful talons.
Follow our graceful African Crowned Crane as they wander around the park, often with their chicks in tow – just one example of our
successful breeding program.
Check out the chicks in the nursery, and learn how the Bali Bird Park is committed to the preservation of bird life.
